An Overview of the Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018 (Apr)
The Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act 2018, which came into force as legislation on 1st April 2019, creates a specific offence of domestic abuse, strengthening the law and offering greater protection for those experiencing domestic abuse in all its forms. The training has been developed in collaboration between Scottish Women’s Aid and trainers from the Women’s Aid network.
