Activism

What does activism mean?

An activist is a person who campaigns for some kind of social change.  Would you like to bring about change for women?  Would you like to make a difference for women who have experienced domestic abuse?

We want to harness women’s rightful anger.  Women have every reason to be angry and it can be channelled very positively into activism.   This can be seen throughout history of Women’s Marches and feminist campaigns worldwide.

Women’s passion, bravery and creativity over the years has driven much of the work we do and through it women have left their mark.  We want to continue to hear and amplify women’s voices.

If you would like to be involved in activism with Grampian Women's Aid, or would like some more information, please email media@grampianwomensaid.com or complete our online form.
