Our Workers
Our workers have the right skills, knowledge and values to do their role and are registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). To be on the register, workers must already hold or be working towards a job specific qualification. The SSSC Codes of Practice set out the standards that workers and employers have to meet.
We meet the Women’s Aid in Scotland National Service Standards - Grampian Women’s Aid achieved all six National Service Standards in 2018 and has been awarded its Certificate of Achievement by Scottish Women’s Aid.
We recognise the importance of demonstrating our commitment to LGBT people. By working through the Charter’s programme, towards the Silver Award, we aim to remove barriers to LGBT people resulting in more diverse and inclusive services for LGBT people.
